What’s going on?
According to unclaimed property laws, accounts are considered unclaimed when there has been no login for 3 or more years. If you do not log in to your PayPal account by 9/26/2016, state law requires us to send the funds in your account to the District of Columbia State Treasurer’s office.
What do I need to do?
To avoid the closure of your account and remittance of your funds to the District of Columbia State Treasurer you need to do one of the following: Log in. This is the only step required to keep your account. Make a withdrawal. Log in to your PayPal account and click Withdraw Money and choose by bank, select the bank you would like the money sent and click Submit. Transfer your funds. You can send the funds to another PayPal account you own by logging in to your account and clicking Send Money. Request a check. Log in to your PayPal account and click Withdraw Money and choose by check, select the address you would like the money sent and click Submit. There is a $1.50 fee for check withdrawals. The minimum amount you can withdraw by check is $1.51 USD.
Ну и далее всякая фигня. Захожу на профиль, ничего с него сделать нельзя - только перевести деньги (у меня, оказывается, там еще 11 баксов завалялось) на свой счет в американском банке. Чтобы сделать что-то еще, надо проходить какую-то нудную верификацию.
